About the Community of Del Cerro
Del Cerro, Spanish for “of the hill” is an affluent neighborhood not far from San Diego State University and the College Area. In the late 1950’s the single-story Ranch Style home dotted the early modern suburban tract landscape and led the way to the Mid Century Modern Architecture of the 1960’s and 70’s. Soaring views to Cowles Mountain, Lake Murray, SDSU, Downtown night lights and even as far as the ocean on a clear day!
